Regatta news:
Jolly Roger Sail Club attempted to hold their
Cattail Regatta on Saturday May 31st. Mystere catamarans, Interlakes,
Lasers, and Catalina 22's ventured out into Lake
Erie, only to return to port with winds gusting to
25 knots. The Catalina 22's had a makeup race the
following day in the shifty winds and shallow waters
of the Ottawa River. Taking advantage of ringers
like Bruce Sondy's being at Nationals, Mike Dennis
in So Inclined took first, Phil Fry in Catch 22 took
second place, and Joe Snyder in Pokey finished
third.
